What we do

Six kinds of job, each explained properly.

On the Pro tier each service gets room to say what is involved, so customers arrive knowing what to expect.

Service 01

Fuse board upgrades

Old rewireable fuses or a crowded board replaced with a modern consumer unit, tested and labelled circuit by circuit.

What’s involved
  • Look over the existing board and earthing before pricing
  • Power off for part of a day, agreed in advance
  • Every circuit tested and labelled on the new board

Good to know: if testing shows up a fault on an old circuit, we tell you before doing anything extra.

Service 02

Rewires

Full or partial rewires for older houses, extensions and attic conversions, planned room by room so you can keep living there.

What’s involved
  • A walk-through to agree socket and switch positions
  • First fix, then second fix once plastering is done
  • Testing and paperwork at the end

Good to know: a partial rewire is often enough. We say so when it is.

Service 03

EV chargers

Home charge points supplied and fitted, including the board and cable work needed to feed them.

What’s involved
  • Check the supply and board have capacity for a charger
  • Agree where it goes and how the cable gets there
  • Fit, test and show you how to use it

Good to know: send a photo of your meter and fuse board with your enquiry and we can usually price from that.

Service 04

Fault-finding

Tripping, dead sockets, flickering lights. We find the cause, show you what we found and tell you what it costs to put right.

What’s involved
  • A few questions by phone to narrow it down
  • Testing on site with proper instruments
  • A plain explanation and a price before any repair

Good to know: loss of power and anything that smells of burning goes to the front of the queue.

Lighting & sockets

Extra sockets, outdoor lighting, kitchen and bathroom fit-outs, smoke and heat alarms.

What’s involved
  • Small jobs priced from photos where possible
  • Cables hidden where the building allows it
  • Tidy finish and everything tested before we leave

Good to know: small jobs are grouped by area, so there can be a short wait.

How it works

From first message to finished job.

  1. Tell us the job

Call, or fill in the short form. A photo of the fuse board helps if you have one.

  2. Get a written quote

We ring back, look at the job if it needs it, and send an itemised price you can keep.

  3. Work done, paperwork issued

We agree a date, do the work, test it and give you the certificate where one applies.

Where we work

Ballymore Cross and about 25 km around it.

If you are a little outside the ring, ask anyway. It depends on the job and what else is on that week.

What customers say

Reviews, straight from Google.

This demo shows no reviews because the business is not real. On a live site this block shows the contractor's own Google reviews.

Questions

Asked most often.

Do you charge to come and price a job?

Most domestic jobs are priced from a call and a couple of photos. If a visit is needed first, we say so before we travel.

How soon can you start?

It depends on the job and the week. Faults and loss of power are looked at first; planned work is booked into the next free slot and you are given a date in writing.

Will I get a certificate?

Yes, where the work is the kind that needs one. We tell you at quote stage which paperwork applies to your job.

Do you take on small jobs?

Yes. An extra socket or an outside light is fine. Small jobs are often grouped by area, so there can be a short wait.

How do I pay?

Bank transfer or card on completion. Larger jobs are staged, with the stages set out in the quote.
